Dependable Personnel
  All potential employees fill out an extensive application that requires personal and business 
  references. These references are checked for validity and employee-rehiring status. Candidates 
  who fit our hiring needs are then asked to supply a criminal background check before anything 
  further is considered. If a criminal background check is clean, then a personal interview is set 
  up with the appropriate person in management. If required by your facilities contract, the 
  employee is then subjected to drug screening. Once passed, the candidate is further explained 
  the workplace rules and requirements and a job offer is made. The application, criminal 
  background, drug screening and interview information for all of our employees are kept on file.
 
 
  
 
 
 
  
Training & Monitoring
  ABS strongly believes in the proper training of our cleaning personnel. When a new cleaner is 
  hired, he or she adopts our company philosophy and is well-educated about our cleaning 
  program. Only until that point are cleaning staff sent into the field for hands-on training with a 
  qualified superior. This person serves as a mentor during the team member's probationary 
  period. A working supervisor maintains constant monitoring and provides the final sign-off to

Quality Control
  ABS Quality Control is a team effort consisting of Supervisors, Managers and Office Staff.  
  Supervisors and Managers are in the field nightly inspecting our Night Cleaners performance.  
  Our Office Staff receive emails and work orders and dispatch any complaints or concerns to  
  the appropriate Supervisor.  ABS Office Staff also keep records of all requests and issues for 
  each individual location and send out annual surveys.  In addition, a day time Quality Control 
  Manager conducts customized regular inspections specifically addressing special 
  considerations that are identified. These site inspections combined with work order tracking 
  and personal visits with the building manager keep us well-informed of your needs and allow 
  us to provide the high quality service you and your tenants deserve. With ABS, potential 
  problems are eliminated before they become an issue.
 
 
  
 
 
 
  
The ABS Management Team
  Charles Guest is the President and Owner of American Building Services. He has more than 40 
  years of experience in all aspects of the janitorial service area. As a hands-on, accessible owner, 
  he consults regularly with facilities managers on building needs and is available to help clients 
  if an urgent janitorial issue arises. So while you're assigned a dedicated team to oversee your 
  facility needs, you can also contact Charles directly at any time. 
  The ABS team is comprised of professionals with extensive experience in the industry and in 
  customer service.
